a mutually supportive working atmosphere in which everyone felt happy to participate. I felt that I learnt

Feedback from CPD session

We run a variety of interpreting training courses in different geographical locations, from introductory courses to preparation for the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI).

For our Cintra-registered interpreters, we offer continuing professional development courses, interpreter support meetings and other professional support.

DPSI preparatory courses
The application deadline for the preparatory DPSI course for June 2012 examinations has now passed.

DPSI exam centre
You may be able to take a DPSI exam in June 2012 at Cintra’s DPSI exam centre without attending Cintra’s preparatory course.  Please contact training@cintra.org.uk for more information stating the language and speciality (law, health or local government) in which you would like to take the exam. The written exams will take place in Cambridge. The venue for the oral exams is yet to be confirmed but will be in Norfolk or Suffolk. For details about the DPSI qualification, visit the Chartered Institute of Linguists' website.
