Cintra's policy is that all linguists working with us for public sector clients must have security vetting, as interpreters may work with children or vulnerable adults and or in sensitive situations.

Examples of vetting include Disclosure and Barring Service checks and Non-Police Personnel Vetting.

The check is carried out on recruitment and regularly afterwards.

We also carry out checks in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 to ensure that our linguists have the legal right to work in the UK.
